Newlands - Cape Town
Known as Cape Town’s green suburb and is probably even more famous for the Newlands rugby and cricket stadiums, Newlands is a very special place, a place that leaves a warm memory to all who visits there. Resting against the eastern slopes of Table Mountain, easy accessible from all major highways and only 15 minutes away from Cape Town’s city.
This green lush suburb is home to some breath-taking houses situated on large properties with some bordering Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, offering some magnificent views.
If cricket is your cup of tea, Newlands is the heartbeat South African cricket, stunning views of Devil Peak from under the Oak trees.
If nature is your thing, Newlands forest is a favourite amongst locals for exercising their dogs, with lots of trails to choose from, some linking up with Table Mountain. The Botanical Gardens being a great place to spend the afternoon, with restaurants offering refreshments all day long. Newlands not scarce in award winning restaurants, also local coffee shops and bistros. You will find plenty of local art studios and craft shops including the Contemporary Bushman Gallery.
