The space:
The house boasts 3 downstairs bedrooms with 1 x king room, 1 x queen and 1 single. The upstairs bedroom has 1 x double bed and 1 x single, great for a kids pad! The highlight is a glass conservatory to use for those relaxing coffee mornings. The kitchen and dining room is all open plan with a lovely free flow to the swimming pool and garden. The pool is heated via solar panels and there is a large 10 seater table and pool loungers for those balmy summer days in the Bay. Downstairs there is a TV room with full DSTV and XBOX. There is one full bathroom with shower, bath, vanity and toilet, along with a guest toilet.

Guest access:
The house is secure with a full alarm system. Fire wood is also included in the rental for those chilly winter days. There is a secure parking area on the property, along with plenty of free street parking. The owners live in a cottage on the property, with complete separate entrance and private space. The only shared area is the driveway.

The neighborhood:
Hout Bay is a true little village. Beach and shops are all within 3 min drive or a healthy 15 minute walk (hills on the way home :-). My favourite beach Llandudno is 7 minutes drive, perfect for a day out. Cape Town city centre and the V&A Waterfront is 15/20 minutes drive, along the most scenic ocean road.

Getting around:
It is generally best to hire a car when visiting Cape Town, however, there is a public bus system with limited routes, or alternatively the red bus has two stops in Hout Bay for exploring the surrounds.

Other things to note
The owner is happy to leave all the kids toys, so no need to bring!
