Attractions Only 100 metres away is the shore of Long Beach, an extensive stretch of white sand leading all the way to the village of Noordhoek. Walking this beach one passes the 1901 wreck of the Kakapo and is often passed by horse-riders from either the Imhoff’s Gift or Noordhoek stables, which offer horse-riding for all levels of experience. The area is excellent for surfers, who are drawn to Long Beach for its consistent surf and good waves. It is also popular with kite-surfers and windsurfers (when the north wind blows) and with canoeists and kayakers when the sea is calm. Within a half-hour drive are the African penguins at Boulder’s Beach and Cape Point in the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve. Just 20 minutes away is the quaint naval town of Simon town and the arty village Kalk Bay, while the city of Cape Town is just 45 minutes away by car. A four-star grading gives Sea breeze a formal stamp of approval, but it’s the fact that visitors want to return to its stylish beach comfort that says it all.

Three of the bedrooms open through sliding doors onto timber decks downstairs, giving continuity between the space inside and the views outside.
