White Sands Villa is a stunning thatched house meters from the beach in Kommetjie, opposite the famous surfing spot called “Sunset Reef”. White washed timber, simple clean furnishings, light and sunny – this lovely property compliments its beachside location superbly. White Sands sits on top of a dune, offering lovely sea views from the large terrace and access directly from the garden straight to the beach. Watch the whales, seals, kite surfers and surfers from the terrace, where you can also see Hout Bay, Chapman’s Peak and Table Mountain, or entertain on the large patio downstairs with its built in barbeque.
White Sands also offers a lovely private swimming pool surrounded by garden, absolutely ideal for families with children. Frolic in the waves, build sand castles, and then jump into your pool to wash off the beach sand; or alternatively simply lounge next to the pool and soak up the Cape Town sunshine – this location is unbeatable.
White Sands has a huge 64 square meter living room which opens out onto the covered patio with full outdoor dining facilities and sea views – ideal for summer entertaining. The living area is delightful cool and spacious, with a double storey vaulted thatched ceiling. The lounge, kitchen and dining areas are all open plan.
White Sands features 4 bedrooms. The house sleeps up to 8 people. The master bedroom is upstairs. It has a travertine en-suite and the doors onto the deck allow you to lie in bed and watch the waves breaking on the beach outside. It is also large enough to accommodate a separate single bed for those with young children. Downstairs are the remaining 3 bedrooms. One bedroom opens onto the patio and offers a double bed. Another bedroom offers a three quarter bed, and the remaining bedroom features 2 single beds. These 3 bedrooms share a bathroom.
